The Client

Ingeus employment services support unemployed people to get back into work. They also support people who are accessing psychological therapies and require employment advice. In 2022, their services helped more than 500,000 unemployed people into work.

Ingeus designs and deliver services on behalf of the central government and local authorities, leading local supply chains and partner networks to deliver targeted support for people of all backgrounds and circumstances, including people with health conditions and/or disabilities.

They partner with employers to provide people with access to local vacancies, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to be work-ready for a wide-range of sectors and occupations, while giving employers no-cost, tailored recruitment solutions to create talented, inclusive teams.

A Nationally Recognised Employment Services Company That Has Successfully Helped More Than 500,000 People in the UK.

The Challenge

Ingeus found itself grappling with the challenge of providing affordable, high-quality tech to its clients. Their clientele needed IT hardware to develop necessary skills for the job market but found the cost and complexity of technology a burden. This was not just a barrier to employment opportunities but also a hurdle in INGEUS' mission to reduce carbon emissions.

Problem

A Client Success Manager needed to be able to easily purchase a laptop for a client that needs it.

THE SOLUTION

We developed an easy-to-use online ordering system for INGEUS' client success managers, offering three tiers of refurbished IT hardware, each suited to different client needs:

Tier 1 Laptop – Ideal for web browsing and general internet use

Tier 2 Laptop – Suitable for general office work, video conferencing, and using applications such as Teams and Excel

Tier 3 Laptop – Perfect for higher-end coding and development

Problem

They needed a cost effective way to give their clients what they need without compromising on quality. They needed a supplier who used ISO-approved processes, meets environmental and WEEE standards, as well as best practice guidelines.

The Solution

By utilizing Grade A refurbished tech, INGEUS was able to save significantly on costs compared to buying new hardware. No additional full-time IT hardware management was necessary, ensuring data compliance was maintained. This approach also allowed INGEUS to make strides towards sustainability.

Problem

Most of their clients are not particularly tech savvy and they might need help with how to set up their laptop and get the necessary software to start work.

The Solution

To ensure a smooth transition for clients who were not tech-savvy, we included a step-by-step guide on how to start their new laptop and get Microsoft Office for free along with a number that can connect them to our helpdesk. We also threw in a flyer offering a 10% discount on additional purchases from our store.
